Passage Verdeau, Paris 9e
On a rainy day, a tour of the old passages in the center of Paris offer more than just shelter: antiques dealers, old books, postcards, collectors' cameras, and of course a few places to eat and drink. etc.). The Passage Verdeau was built in 1847 and is lit through a high glass roof designed to look like fish bones.

Palais-Royal, Paris 1er
Just off the gardens of the Palais-Royal, sixteen polished stainless steel spheres reflect the colonnades and the sky from slightly different perspectives. It is a work of Pol Bury and it is a fountain where, when it's working correctly, the water slowly turns the sphere and the reflected images evolve over time. And try not to get a picture of yourself!
